Mediterraneo is located in Emeryville, CA, just across the Bay from San Francisco. We work with local business establishments on a daily basis and receive constant updates on seasonal produce and meats from our vendors and make sure that you receive the freshest ingredients at market prices. We work closely with our clients to customize each menu to ensure the success of your event.
ABOUT CHEF/OWNER JANINE GODFREY
Janine Godfrey has a love for food that started as a child creating lunch menus for the neighborhood kids and lead her to cooking classes in France and Germany and eventually back to the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco. These courses coupled with the hands-on experience gained as a cook and head baker at the Gap corporate offices and working with several different catering companies enabled her to launch Mediterraneo in 1995.
She constantly creates new, innovative culinary presentations and menus combining the freshest ingredients and seasonally inspired floral displays. She is continuously moving forward, creating new culinary delights for a rapidly growing client list. Her culinary oursework includes:
